Description
This is my first mock up of a door hanger for a Xmas wreath, I tried command strips and a hook alone for the wreath but it was too heavy and they failed, I couldn't find anything to suit a UK UPVC door so took some rough measurements and created this, it's not perfect but does the job and is mostly hidden (if done in white) when you hang a wreath on it.
I used a command strip(3m sticky pad) on the inside and one on the outside to stop it moving about, but when the door is closed it does clamp it on pretty nice, it's just when you open the door it would move a little so a couple of sticky pads helps it stay put.
Added a sketch of the size (in mm) and images of the door profile so just check your's is roughly the same, I think these are pretty common doors in the UK.
It is as long as you can make it on an A1 size bed when printing diagonally and hangs the wreath in just about the right place down the door.
Have added some Brim Ears to the print just to help with adhesion as it is pretty narrow, print with 5 walls to make it solid, doesn't use much filament - also would recommend PETG, PLA may not work, but if you do try, let me know how well it works!
Any feedback is also welcome.
