Kanchenjunga, a name derived from four Tibetan words, signifies “Five Treasures of Snow” in both Tibetan and Sikkimese languages. This majestic peak, the world’s third highest, is part of the Himalayas, situated on the border between Nepal and India

Kanchenjunga Main Summit (also known as First Kanchenjunga): 8,586 meters above sea level;
Kanchenjunga West (also known as Yalung Kang): 8,505 meters above sea level;
Kanchenjunga Central (also known as Third Kanchenjunga): 8,473 meters above sea level;
Kanchenjunga South (also known as Talung Kang, or Second Kanchenjunga): 8,476 meters above sea level;
Kambachen: 7,903 meters above sea level.
