Description

Update 2: I've added the TPU Gasket file. It's nothing fancy, just print 4 of them and add a dab of glue and they'll hold in place nicely. On the “Download 3MF” button click the drop down arrow and select “Download STL Files" and scroll to the bottom, you'll see the Gasket STL.

Update: I noticed after a LOT of printing with this installed that the glass bed when inserted into it's storage slot starts to vibrate forwards (I think my table is leaning a little bit) I'll be working on a TPU insert to help reduce this problem, or juse use a tiny glob of hot glue/tape, that works too!

Please use the included 3MF files if possible, I uploaded one for Bambu Studio AND Orca slicer 2.0

I've designed a riser for the Creality K1 Max that takes inspiration from the BLV X1C Riser on Maker World. I use that riser for my X1 and wanted something that visually looks similar but there were no options on any of the usual 3D printing sites, so here is my take on it!

I embedded 4 slots for the Creality CFS to sit on since they're releasing the upgrade kit for the K1 series soon and I also added a small recess for a 5x6 Gridfinity base so that you can add your own storage solution if you don't plan on using the CFS. There are two drawers on the front that can be used for your tools and spare parts and they provide a generous amount of storage space.

Under the drawer compartments are slots for your additional build plates as well as the glass lid for when you're printing PLA and need to have the printer able to vent. You can also slot the glass plate down into the bottom compartment in order to close the top off for ABS/ASA.

I'll be uploading the attachment mechanism as a blank plate for you to modify yourself as you see fit and I'll also include a filament spool holder. I've embedded 4 attachment points around the sides of the riser so that you can attach multiple spools at once, or come up with your own ideas and not be limited to a single attachment slot.

This system is designed to be printed on the K1 Max in 6 parts, with more accessories coming soon. Be warned, this print will take up about 2.5kgs of filament (depending on your slicer settings) and has tolerances built into the dovetails of 0.15mm so you'll want to make sure that you're able to achieve those tolerances. Your fit may be more snug or more loose than mine depending on how tuned your machine is. The attachment uses a dovetail system and is plenty strong to hold quite a bit of storage or a CFS unit safely.

I'll also be uploading a TPU gasket for the glass lid ASAP.
