Bottle Opener End (Add your own handle!)
Print Profile(1)

Description
I designed this bottle opener to go with the Snap-On Screwdriver Handle that I designed (Link below.) but you can modify and/or use this as a base to design your own handle around! This was designed specifically to slide into the Snap-On Screwdriver Handle and be glued/bonded if necessary (Depending on your printer’s tolerances.) The only other item you will need is a dime, and all you have to do is press the dime into the slot! The dime was integrated into the design to help with leverage and strength when opening a bottle, since PLA & PETG would probably get worn down and beaten up over time from the sharp edges of the metal bottle caps.
NOTE: This model was intentionally designed to have an extremely tight fit when inserting the dime into the bottle opener. Just as a reference point, I printed this on a Bambu Labs A1 with Bambu Labs Black PLA Basic filament and the overhangs in the slot for the dime are not 100% perfect because they are just the stock settings, but I printed Plate #1: “Perfect Fit - 1.6mm Coin Slot Height”.
•For a TIGHER Coin Slot: If your printer's overhangs are tuned, the coin may go in easier and you will probably want to print Plate #2: “Tighter Fit - 1.5mm Coin Slot Height”.
•For a LOOSER Coin Slot: If your printer's overhangs are very bad, the coin may be harder to press in and you will probably want to print Plate #3: “Looser Fit - 1.75mm Coin Slot Height”.
NOTE: The orientation of the model (lying flat on the build plate) is intentional so you can use the direction of the layers to your advantage for strength.
Assembly Instructions:
Step #1:

Step #2:

Step #3: Add Glue/epoxy to the Dime if necessary.
Step #4 (For Attaching a Handle): (Example: My Snap-On Screwdriver Handle Design)
•Take the bottle opener and press the cylindrical end into the hole of the screwdriver handle. Ensure that the bottle opener is fully inserted into the handle, so the shelf of the bottle opener rests flat against the flat face of the screwdriver handle. (If the bottle opener is loose inside the handle, you can use an adhesive (super glue, epoxy, etc.) for a permanent fix. If you want a temporary fix (incase you want to remove the bottle opener from the handle) you can cut thin & long piece(s) of paper and wrap them around the cylindrical part of the bottle opener, and then press it into the screwdriver handle.
