Are you a carpenter, maker, or DIY enthusiast and want to protect the edge of your chisels safely and effectively?

This model is a 3D Printed edge protector, designed to prevent blade damage, prolong the lifespan of the steel, and prevent accidental cuts during transport or storage.

Compatibility

This set has been specifically designed for Veritas Tools chisels, though it is also compatible with other brands as long as the chisel size matches.

It includes 7 protectors, compatible with the following blade widths:

• 25,4 mm (1")
• 19 mm (3/4")
• 12,7 mm (1/2")
• 9,5 mm (3/8")
• 6,3 mm (1/4")
• 4,7 mm (3/16")
• 3,17 mm (1/8")

Additionally, each protector is marked with its numbering for easy identification.

Printing Recommendations

• Standard 0.20mm profile
• No supports required
• No special adjustments
• It is recommended to print with TPU filament  to obtain a flexible part with better fit and shock absorption
• Tested with TPU 95A for an optimal balance between flexibility and firmness

Recommended Use

For greater edge and user protection:

• Use them whenever the chisel is not in use
• Store the chisels with their protector, if possible, in a specific tool bag or case
