Description

Bottle cap for the common 2L soda bottles threads.  This print is to replace the typical PCO 28mm 1881 caps found on several plastic bottles.  This design includes the internal rib neck to help the seal a bit, but this cap is not most likely not perfectly pressure or water tight.   My own testing shows that water does not leak out, but your mileage may vary 😊.

Works in both Bambu Lab PLA Basic and PETG, but PETG has move flex, so I prefer my PETG caps.

Less than 5g !

This is an ideal print to empty your spools (see tips below “to print by objects”) fill your plate with caps !

Feedback / comments : This little cap has so many uses, I can't list them all ! I'd like your feedback on my free models and what you use them for. Thanks for sharing your positive experiences and other ideas are welcome.

No AMS ? No problem, this print is a 1 solid color.

Dimensions :   ⌀32mm outside diameter

Printing: No supports needed, print the cap upside down with the threads facing up.  My print profile is design to be a pretty continuous nozzle print movement with smooth moves.  This is not a tall part, so a brim shall not be required.  If you encounter 1st layer adhesion add a brim.

Print by objects : No sure your spool was enough filament left ? No problem, if you print "by objects", the Bambu labs machine will print each part one by one.  It needs more space between the models on the bed space, but the machine will print the objects one after the other.   Wiki on Print-by-objects : https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/software/bambu-studio/sequent-print
