Description

Updated slimmer version: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1330052-slim-door-key-for-interior-doors-safety-lock-v2#profileId-1368181

For most interior doors that lock, you can unlock them from the outside with a flat-head screwdriver or even a penny. The problem is that those things are not always handy and if you have kids that can reach the lock you want something handy.

While there are other keys you can print or even use other things like a penny, none of them are convenient for storing. I've designed my key to hide on the trim of the door, where you secure it with double-sided tape or superglue if you like. It's out of the way, but there when you need it. Just attach it high up so the kids can't get to it.
