Description

They say if you can't buy something to solve a problem, you spend 2x making it yourself. In this case, we had a necessity to reduce damage to scanners and to make our process a little smoother. This scanner holder is designed for a Noble Lift Edge pallet jack, but can be used

 universally as well.

The two top holes are designed to have two zip ties fed vertically, while the bottom four holes should be secured straight across with a zip tie, using the two aligned holes horizontally per one zip tie. In total, the mount was designed to be used with 4 zip ties per holder (See photo 2). There are also 6 holes in the bottom of the holder that allow for drainage if water were to get in and to allow any dust accumulation to fall through the holes. The average cost to print one of these holders is around $4-5 worth of filament, compared to the $45-50 options on the market. Our team was able to complete 40+ units for under $200.

In our use case, we were able to use ELEGOO Rapid PLA + and they have been going strong for the past 6 months. Our environment is a refrigerated warehouse, so material will need adjusted based on use case.
