M3x8 SHCS Machine Screw (20PCS) - AA037

Description

This adapter plate fits over the ikea FÖRNUFTIG air purifier, allowing you to connect a 100mm air duct.

This fits over the FÖRNUFTIG and is held in place with friction in the vertical position.

It is screwed together using m3 screws. I have used M3 Socket Head Cap Machine Screws M3x8mm but you can also use M3x10mm

The duct is held on using cable ties but duct clamps should work too.

I have attached mine to https://makerworld.com/en/models/134048?from=search#profileId-145905 to attach to the back of my printer. I also use it when soldering.

Assembly order

  1. Screw together the 4 squarish pieces
  2. screw the circular hose adapter to the previously assembled pieces

Working on v0.2 (ETA unknown), let me know what you want, current ideas include:

  • locating features for the 4 quarters to make assembly easier
  • alternative sized hose adapters for use with different size air ducts
  • magnets to hold on the hose adapter plate instead of screws
