Annnyway…

This Equilateral Stellated Pentakis Dodecahedron was designed in CAD and features 180 faces, all equilateral triangles. The model is optimized for 3D printing and can be scaled to your preferred size. It prints quickly and looks stunning in tri-color filament!

Printing half of one makes a great fridge magnet. I also think it would make great jewelry, like a medallion for a necklace, a ring, or even earrings!

A 3MF file is included for making a cool fridge magnet, complete with a hole for your magnet. If your magnet is a different size than mine, simply adjust the hole’s diameter and thickness in your slicer. Under the objects menu, select the empty cylinder and modify its dimensions to match your magnet.

Here are the recommended slicer settings for FDM Printers... (I've never tried to print it in resin but I'd love to see your results if you do.)

I strongly recommend printing in halves and glueing together to avoid the use of supports.

Infill: 10%, Gyroid

Layer Height: User preference (recommended 0.12mm for smaller scales and 0.16mm for larger scales).

Seam Position: Aligned

Brim: Use an outer brim for optimal adhesion.
