Description

Artistic and fun bird feeder with the ability to hold two different kinds of seeds! Like us, birds often have their personal favorites when it comes to food, so why not give the birds a buffet to choose from? It's easy to fill with the threaded roof to screw off while it's hanging or are mounted on a surface.

I have made this is in two different versions, one for larger printers like the Bambu P1S etc. and one for smaller printers like the A1 mini etc. Both models have water drainage and good capacity to keep the birds happy for a long time.

Small version

  • Print height 173 mm and width 165 mm
  • Prints in two parts, the feeder in one and the roof in one
  • No need for support or glue
  • No assembly needed aside from screwing on the roof after you have filled it with seeds

Large version

  • Print height 247 mm and width 253 mm
  • Prints on 5 plates if you want different colors on the tubes, or 4 plates if you use the same color on the tubes.
  • No need for support
  • Glue needed for assembly
  • In the assembly you need to insert 4 pins in the top bracket to secure it. There are 12 pins in the print profiles 4x of each with different sizes. As these should fit snug and there is a difference in material and printer properties that affect how well it will print the overhang in the small holes, it is best to print all of them and use the size that fits the holes best.
  • I do not recommend printing the different parts with different types of filament, as different types of materials have different shrinkage and will probably not fit together properly. Print all the parts of ABS, PLA, PET-G etc. for best result.

Assembly guide large version

  • Glue the tubes to the floor part
  • Glue the top mounting bracket to the top of the tubes. Add glue to the holes and insert the 4 pins that fit your print.
  • Fill with seed and let the birds enjoy!
