Description

I created this design to carry all batteries I need on the range and in Airsoft

It holds:
4x AA batteries (for chronos and range timers)
4x AAA batteries (for Headsets)
4x 2032 cell batteries (for reddots)
3x CR123A (for lasers, lights and EoTechs)

Its sized to fit into an AR15 magpouch. When using it standalone, theres a recess for 30mm wide velcro bands or rangerbands

I have uploaded new files, since I didnt notice I uploaded the files with my callsign :D
I have uploaded new .3mf and .step files

If you use the .step and design one for other batteries, dm me. That way I can upload it here

I can't upload a print profile right now because I'm using OrcaSlicer and it doesnt allow that profile, however I used the 0.4mm nozzle with the 0.2mm Standard profile, since it's probably used in action (e.g. Airsoft, Larping, hiking, on the range, …) I do recommend printing with the Strength setting though

I printed this off but for some reason the text for the battery types isn’t sunken. It looked fine when I sliced it yet came out like pictured. I added my own text which came out fine. can you think of any reason why it would do this?

looks like it generated support into the text, you can turn of support or put a support blocker there

Thanks will double check tomorrow when I’m back in front of my machine. It didn’t show any supports once sliced for that area but will double check.

Printed very well, used my slicing programme to add my name (the blurred part in the picture) the battery types printed really nicely without any support required. Using velcroe one wrap to hold it closed currently but would be keen to see a slot/opening for this to feed through and hold the two halves together while it opens. May also try adding magnets to hold the edges together

Really enjoy the print. Is there a way you could extend the bottom and fit a horizontal 18650?

I decided not to include a 18650, because of its size To include it and simultaneously keep the outer size would mean to thin the walls. Since it is used in a harsh environment, I didnt wanna do that I also use two 18650 as NVG counterweight :D Since I shared the Step file, you can design your own

The supports were a little hard to get off but other than that, very great design!

hey, what supports do you mean?

could it be possible to have a version of this with no battery dividers, just empty space to store other items with the same outer size/shape?

Hey, I included the .step file, you can edit it however you need If you have no option to do that, just dm me

Does it have any forms of locking so the batteries wouldn't fall out when taking it out or is ranger band the only option?

Hey, currently there are no clips or hinges You can use ranger band or 30mm verlcro band I use the latter, never had a problem with that

Looks great! I am new to 3d printing so I am still trying to figure out how to modify the text. Can anyone help with that? Thanks!

I like the concept and design. Would it be possible to get the file from you? Would love to remix this and do a few tweaks!
