This part replaces the 6-sided gear that drives the brush of the NEATO Botvac D7.

In our model, the 6-sided connector was rounded.

Therefore, the wrench size (SW) of the component was increased from 11.5 to 11.7 mm. This ensures a better fit into the brushes.

These have a 12mm SW.

Furthermore, the SW was extended by 1 mm.

For the printed model:

Break off the support structure.

Widen the hole on the back with a 7mm drill bit (reverse rotation), then the print marks will be smoother and

the component will slide well onto the shaft.

Assembly:

For disassembly / assembly, only a TORX TX10 and a Phillips head screwdriver are needed to open the Botvac housing.

A small slotted screwdriver is advantageous for removing the battery; its cable is secured with a clip.

The drive including the motor is only plugged in.

7mm drill bit or preferably 7mm reamer (I did it with a drill bit, it works well. Not everyone probably has a reamer)
