Description

Uvex safety glasses ultraspec temple tip holder repair.

Simple repair all you need to do is squeeze the rubber temple tip from the default carriage which is shown in the figure above, use pliers at the flat part so the small nib that slides can come out of the hole.

All you need to do after that is shove the rubber temple tip into the safety glasses hole and it wont come out due to that nib. The assembly can finally be put together by putting one of the pegs (I prefer the top one) in the hole of the visor. Then, forcefully slide the other peg until it aligns with the hole. It should not break if using PETG. Finally, I use the same pliers to press the peg in.

You might notice when the glasses are closed, that the pegs bend, this is a spring mechanism so that when you open the glasses they stay in the open position and do not swing around which is much easier to wear.

If you are having troubles with the peg insertion, I recommend you put it in in the open configuration.

Thank you for downloading and using these stylish safety glasses! <3
