Description

Makerworld will not let me share with custom filament, if you print in ESD from the link you MUST change the settings

at the end off all this I have the screen shots for the filament settings. If you print without cooler settings and what not, it will weld to you textured PEI plate and screw it up.

Pi 3 B is here

Pi 4 B is here

This case is specifically meant for the Pi 3 B+, it would work on the 3; you would just not have the power and HDD light visible (on opposite side). I do not use the GPIO pins outside the case and the other do and it drives me insane. The case as shown is printed in PETG ESD. This case is designed to use this common 30x30 fan. The filament is this good but hard to not stick filament by PolyMaker. I have profiles, one with Vesa 100 mount and another that is just the case.

I am working on other Pi variants, and hopefully I get them done and update them here.

The case is designed for 1 ¼ 4-40 screws. I guess you could use 3x35mm screws, but the ones that would thread the hole would also thread into the Pi PCB board; in my test this didn't create an issue; you luck may vary.

Since this is an ESD case the USB and Ethernet area is designated to be tight on the slides. Keep that in mind on assembly and disassembly. You should also use metal screws; since the PCB screw pass though do not have the ground ring on them. Critically important to not assemble or disassemble with the micro SD card inserted. The case has an opening for it and it has a lip to help protect it.

The filament settings if you use what I linked from polymaker. It is possible to make it less difficult to remove on textured PEI plates if you lower the bed temperature even more. If you do, report back for others. Be careful as the fan grill is sensitive to breakage from the military grade space weld this filament seems to do.

fits the pi 3+ perfectly. I don’t think it even needs the screws! haha. perfect for under mounting

Printed in PLA without the vesa mount and it fits great. Plenty of room for the fan and it looks clean. It stays together without screws, so I haven't bothered purchasing those yet. Thanks!
