Description
This is a lightweight version of this shelf. It is not intended for heavy & narrow-based objects. Take a look at my other shelf that has all the same features but is reinforced if you want to put anything more than very light objects on it. Link here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1009940
I myself switched from this shelf to the sturdier one because my modem has a fairly narrow base and this lightweight shelf was sagging in the middle. Please don't say you weren't warned if you experience the same :).
I got tired of my modem sitting on my desk so I decided to make a shelf.
I wanted the shelf to have these features:
- Vented so air could easily flow through it to help keep my modem cool
- Have cable management clips to conveniently guide wires
- Mount on the wall
- Convenient counter-sunk screw holes
Note, this model relies on the slicer to create the honeycomb vented pattern. If you are downloading it as STL or changing print settings you must ensure the following:
- Top and bottom layers are set to 0
- Infill is set to Honeycomb (I recommend not less than 20%)
