No support needed

Oil seal cleaner tool for motorbike. Fits almost every fork.

How to use it: Remove the dust seal, hook the tool to the fork and push it into the oil seal. Rotate it one full turn and you're done! Reassemble the dust cover.

Warning: I made it thin enough so it does not damage your oil seal. It might break, but it's better for it to break than the oil seal.

Let me know if you have any advice!

IMPORTANT: I just added a new print profile with a thicker version, much stronger! This version require supports.

print from the app with no support and from bambu slicer with supports failed. turned on side and printing now. printing this for a friend so I will set very low expectations with him.

Strength Issue:I used it on two forks and it broke on the second fork.

Bed Adhesion Issue:I would recommend adding a brim of some sort. first print released from the plate when it got up to the hook portion. I do not have adhesion issues. I added a brim to the second print and it was successful. I used the tool on one fork and it worked good, went to use it on the second fork and the hook broke off.

For users printing via mobile Bambu Handy, please post dimensions of tool. Not all forks are the same size.

Based on v3: Ok, but still too big for me - good thing I loaded it in Bambu Studio to check. If anyone reading, it fits forks that are (inside diameter of) 46.6mm. It was too big so I shrunk it down to fit mine. Good thing, because even after shrinking it, the hook was still too thick to fit under my seal. I ended up going with another, flat version found on Makerworld, which is just 0.4mm thick; I had to peel it off my flat plate.
