Description

A common buzzkill for board game night is the hassle of setup and cleanup. That’s why I created this custom insert for the game ARCS by Leder Games, designed to streamline the process. It ensures each player gets their tokens quickly, with pre-sorted resources and intuitive compartments for all the game pieces, making it easier to get the game to the table and focus on the fun.

note: I designed this to be within the footprint of the board folded up which means that there is a gap on the edges of the box, I filled these gaps with some spare foam I had lying around for extra padding.

Love the design, only, as others have said, doesn't fit sleeved cards. At least my sleeves. I have made a print profile with my modify cards unit that fits. It just changes it from 46mm to 52mm deep and still fits in the box. I cannot fit the leaders cards either, but that piece doesn't really have space to be modified.

does this edit fit the expansion lore cards? away from my computer so can’t measure right now.

the box with in the design is 3-4 mm (by the eye), and could be taken down to 1.5 -1.75 with no structural concerns. As a matter of fact, the cards could be shifted over by 90 deg (this is what I do in all my inserts) and this could be set right on the table and act as a card holder for draw as well.

If you will print 3d figurines of ships and etc, they fit, but not perfectly. Other than that designed well. Recommended.

Other Issues:The card deck that holds regular and larger size cards is too shallow for regular cards for thus they slide over the top. Also could have more space for rulebooks and game board, the box doesnt close completely flush.

there is plenty of space to remake the piece that hold the cardboard cities and starports. It would take 5 minutes to design and probably streamlined, about 60 minutes to print.

Excellent model and print. I used galaxy black PLA and colored the letters with white PLA. I might reprint it because the slots are just wide enough for the Gamegenic clear matte sleeves I bought that measure 66x91 mm. It will work as is, but making the slots a hair wider would be perfect. Still looks cool!

Bottom edge of the card holder is 91mm which should be enough for most sleeves. I use Katana Standards and they are 91.

Hah, I just saw the model and got the game in the mail yesterday. Was curious about the sleeve question myself. If you are curious how to figure this out yourself: 1. Open in Bambu Studio 2. Select the model to measure 3. Click the measure tool (red arrow) 4. Select the line you want to measure (blue arrow) 5. The length will be in the tool box (green arrow)

Great print but the card holder is too small to fit the extra Lore cards which came with the Leaders and Lore pack.

Great looking insert! Did this ever get adjusted to account for leaders & lore and/or sleeves? I see a comment from a couple months ago that you were going to adjust it.
