Annnyway…
The Parabolic Spike Mini Version translates the geometric design of the original Parabolic Spike into a smaller, faster-to-print form. This scaled-down version retains the sharp, stepped pyramid-like structure and the grid of squares extruded to varying heights, providing the same level of detail as the original while reducing print time and material usage.

Perfect for those who loved the original design but want a more compact version, this model delivers stunning results while being efficient and accessible for all 3D printing enthusiasts.
WARNING: Please handle with care after printing, especially while removing the model from the build plate. The tip and four corners can be delicate, particularly at smaller scales. I’ve had one break before, and another maker who printed the model mentioned the same issue. Just a heads-up to help you avoid any surprises. I don’t recommend using a scraper for this one. Just let the plate cool down fully before removal and the print should come off easily.
That said, please don’t let this stop you from printing it. Many have had success with the model. Just handle it gently and you should be fine.
Here's a tip… (pun intended🤓): Experiment with Z-height adjustments during slicing to create unique patterns and effects.
I've only tested this model with FDM printing, but I'd love to see your results if you try printing it with resin!
Here are the settings for FDM printers-
Infill: User Preference ( I use Gyroid, 10%)
Supports: None
Seam Position: Nearest
Ironing: Ironing on the top surfaces is recommended for a smooth finish on the square faces.
FYI - The original print takes around 5 hours. I’ve also included a .3MF file optimized for a BambuLab P1S with a 0.4mm nozzle and Matte PLA, as seen in the photos. If you’re using a different type of filament, don’t forget to adjust the filament settings!
If you have any questions or need assistance during printing, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to help!
Have fun! 🥳
UPDATE: I’ve added another .3MF file for an extra-small version. This is the smallest scale you can print without losing any detail in each individual square, and it takes a little under two hours to print.

There is a larger, more detailed version of this model available on my page as well. If you have the time and filament for a larger print, feel free to check that one out here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/956182-parabolic-spike#profileId-925148
