(UPDATE1: Added fuzzy skin version. Be careful not to move the modifiers & if you want to change the fuzziness, be sure to edit BOTH “Handle Butt” & “Handle Outer” in the object view)

[AVOID using matte PLA, for the blade. It tends to be the most fragile. I honestly even find PETG is more likely to shatter, as well. I use PLA+.]

(I painted on mouse ears for Bambu Studio users. Consider using mouse ears, if using Orca Slicer: .14 gap, 110 max angle)

Inspired by one of the most comfortable pocket knife handles: the Hogue Deka.

I thought Discobanan's handle was great (which I think is actually from 0_Mike, on Thingiverse). I wanted to make another ergonmic handle. It doesn't perfectly match the Hogue Deka, but the shape is relatively close. By a hair, I also increased the protrusion of the handle hook on the bottom end - to improve the force when pushing out.

The spring is a remix made by Kodolakatze, on Thingiverse, I find it more comfortable & like the shape better (no changes made). All credit to them, for the spring change. And all credit to uhltimate, for the original design.

(I have the best luck printing these at .16mm. The OTF fidget knife can require some tinkering. I scrape a small bit off of the bottom edge of the main blade (on the opposite side of the blade hooks), if I have latching problems. 

If that doesn't work I move on to increasing the divit in the hooks of the blade, then the hooks of the handle. Sanding down any small blobs or bits can help too.)

(Painted mouse ears, for Bambu Studio users. If you use Orca slicer, I recommend these settings. This ensures that the harsh edges on the spring & blade won't lift off of the plate, during printing.)

(Change BOTH “Handle Outer” & “Handle Butt" if you want to change the fuziness for the fuzzy version)
