Hemostat pliers
Print Profile(4)

Description
A pair of hemostat pliers for use around the shop or house. These are a no support, no hardware needed print for simplicity. I would use as stiff as a filament as you have, but they do work fine with just normal PLA. Do not expect them to grip as hard as their metallic counterparts.
Handy to have for electronic work, I use them to hold wires when soldering. There are two versions on the 3mf file, one with a skinny nose, and another with a fatter nose.
To assemble just print in the orientation in the file, clean up any strings or such and gently pop them together. I havent had any problems with the as printed pivot joint, but if you wanted you could just print both models with a hole (would have to modify one side) and assemble with actual hardware.
1/19/2025 Update:
Added a new print profile to address the notches being opposite the norm, beefing up the pivot point, and adding some fillets so they feel nicer.
Let me know thoughts or if you can think of any improvements!
2/3/2026 Update:
Added a new print profile that changes the pivot point to a screw in vs a snap in to address issues some were seeing with the snap pivot point breaking off. Note this is a bit trickier of a print due to the threads, but I with the settings on the profile I have successfully printed in PLA/PTEG/PA612-CF.
