Quick Detach Scope Mount! – Fast Easy Print Works Great!

Requires:

2x 6mm diameter, 20mm length .6mm wire compression springs.

1x m3x4mm Pan Head Screw

1x m3x8mm Pan Head Screw

2x 3mm Rods or Dowel Pins Cut down to 1.25"-1.35"

Assembly is pretty easy and fast.

Prep work, Cut dowels to anywhere within 1.25-1.35"

Clean the holes in the main body center hole with a .177 drillbit & 2 outside holes with a .12 drillbit

Clean the center hole in the pivot with your .177 drillbit. & Clean the center hole of the moveable Clamp with your .177 Drill bit.

Next press your Pins into the moveable Jaw two outside holes.

Assembly Time!

Press your SQ Head nut into position from the outside of the main body. Next place the two springs on the dowel pins, resting in the counterbores of the clamp. Push the pins into the main body. 

Compress & Insert assemble lever with the pivot and put the sq nut round end through the pivot hole.

Next Carefully Tighten Your m3x8 pan head. It must Thread in straight. It will self-thread. 

To get the proper tightness place the assembly on your pic rail and with it in locked position. You will then tighten the m3x8 screw until it is secure and stable. But not too tight that when unlocked it cannot come off the rail. Do not overtighten or you may break the SQ screw and need a reprint!

Below is a picture of that process. 

Finally Tighten the Washer on the bottom of the Pivot using the m3x4mm pan head.
