Star Map Clock MS

Chart new galaxies with the start map clock!

This clock is designed to work with the Maker's Supply Clock Components Kit and can be mounted any way you like!

Alternatively, print just the hour and minute hands and add the start map look to any clock face!

I printed mine in gold and black but feel free to mix up the colors. This model could look equally cool with a variety of color combinations. The print profile is set to print by object so, whatever colors you choose, you don't have to have an AMS to print all the pieces.

A note to those downloading this model:
I am still waiting on getting a Maker's Supply Clock Kit and, while the design has been painstakingly matched to dimensions of other clocks that are built for that, this model has not yet been fit-tested with those components. If anyone cares to give it a try, PLEASE let me know how it goes. If you have any other feedback on the model PLEASE share! I am happy to make revisions and want to make this design

Print Profile:

I published a print profile that uses basic PLA. When I printed my own, however, I used black TPU 95A HF for the clock face, just to see if I could get away with it on an A1. It is VERY cool! The face is, in my opinion, a good candidate for TPU because there are no spires that could lead to stringing and it adheres but also peels up of the print plate in a pretty satisfying way. If it seems to be a popular idea then maybe I'll upload my TPU print profile as well.
