Some friends wanted to recreate weapons from anime, and this time I'm bringing the Positron Rifle, strictly reproducing its anime design.

The Positron Rifle is a long-range, high-power weapon developed by NERV in EVA to combat Angels, using a positron beam to penetrate the Angels' A.T. Field. The most classic battle was in Episode 6, when Unit-01 used it to snipe Sachiel as it descended to Earth, remotely powered by the "Kill the Devil" aircraft carrier. The rifle's heavy body required an EVA to shoulder it, and its wired design was due to the inability to miniaturize the positron accelerator. It compensated for the shortcomings of close-quarters combat weapons and was one of the few conventional weapons capable of inflicting penetrating damage on Angels.
