Cavapoo Bust

This Cavapoo bust beautifully captures the gentle nature and irresistible charm of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel–Poodle cross. Sculpted in a poised three-quarter profile, the piece combines refined proportions with richly textured coat detail to create a timeless decorative sculpture.

The head is elegantly proportioned, featuring a softly rounded muzzle and delicately sculpted brow that frame an expressive, soulful eye. The relaxed facial expression conveys the affectionate temperament for which the Cavapoo is so well loved. Long, flowing ears drape naturally alongside the face, adding balance to the composition while enhancing the breed's signature silhouette.

The sculpted coat is the centrepiece of the design. Layered curls and gentle waves flow from the crown through the ears and down into the neck, creating impressive depth and movement. Fine directional texturing gives the fur a natural appearance while maintaining crisp sculptural definition. Around the neck, the coat becomes fuller and more voluminous, giving the bust a luxurious, lifelike presence.

A hand-finished bronze-style patina accentuates every sculpted detail. Rich dark tones settle into the recesses of the fur, while warm metallic highlights illuminate the raised curls, facial contours, and elegant ear folds. The result is a striking interplay of light and shadow that gives the sculpture the appearance of a finely aged bronze artwork.

The bust is mounted on a substantial stepped circular plinth featuring a cracked stone design, providing a strong architectural foundation that contrasts beautifully with the soft organic textures of the coat. This classic base enhances the presentation while giving the piece a gallery-quality finish.
