Description
This is a case I made up for my implementation of Tiny Tomes by Hands on Katie. There is information on her upload and youtube channel about how the system actually works, this is just a slimline case that fits the electronics inside it.
This is a SLIM version of the case I have made which requires you to solder the wires to the PN532 board directly on to the ESP32-C3 board. I have a second version that can be used with a board with header pins coming soon.
This is a very quick and simple print, once you have soldered your wires to the ESP board they can be passed around or under the bridge the ESP board sits on and plug the DuPont connectors to the PM532 board. NOTE - You will need to solder the 90degree angled header pins to this board for it to work.
The two halves of the case attach with 2 M2.5x12 CSK screws which pass through from the bottom, through holes in the PN532 board and into the bosses in the lid - this makes the front completely clean. Depending on how well your printer manages tolerances this may be a tight fit, it might not.
There is a small track on the area the ESP board sits on, this is for a little hot glue to hold the board in place, it is ‘captured’ by the plate at the end of the board opposite the USB socket and a boss on the lid that holds it down.
