Description
Busbar Cover / Busbar Enclosure – 3D Printed Protective Housing
A simple protective enclosure for a copper busbar.
The design consists of a black base and a red top cover with cut-out polarity marking.
The housing is intended to improve safety and appearance of exposed busbar connections. It can be used in DIY battery systems, power distribution boxes, solar/off-grid installations, workshop projects or other low-voltage DC setups.

Printing
Recommended material: PETG, ABS, ASA or other heat-resistant filament.
PLA can be used only for light-duty/display use.
Suggested settings:
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Walls: 4 or more
- Infill: 30–50%
- Supports: depends on printer orientation
- Material: PETG / ABS / ASA recommended
Important note
This is only a 3D printed protective housing.
The electrical rating depends on the copper busbar, screws, cable size, installation quality and used material.
Always make sure the design is suitable for your voltage, current and temperature conditions.
