Surfcasting Rig Box

Hello,

I present my bait box system for storing and keeping essential equipment close at hand.

Thanks to its two compartments, the upper one is large enough to store baiting needles, tying thread, for example.

Printed in PETG for sun resistance

Materials required for construction:

• 4 M4 42 mm screws
• 10 M4 nuts
• Threadlocker
• super glue

To get more grip for tightening the screws, I proceeded as follows:

M4 screw + threadlocker on the first two centimeters towards the screw head. I assemble the element "M4 nut crimped with a nut precisely" onto it. I screw it in as far as possible so that the threadlocker blocks it.

For the lid part, the clip system that closes the box: each time there are small holes serving as markers to place the parts. You either use M4 screws with M4 nuts, or you glue these two elements (6 latch and 7 latch).

The project in terms of materials:

• Box = 0.28 mm / 25% gyroid infill = 4h43 and 146.37 g
• Solid box = 0.28 mm / 35% gyroid infill = 5h13 and 157.22 g
• Lid = 0.28 mm / 25% gyroid infill = 1h56 and 61.95 g PETG
• Interior part + gear = 0.28 mm + 25% gyroid infill + support + outer brim = 1h26 and 29.52 g of PETG
• Latch 1 & 2 = 0.28 mm / 25% gyroid infill = 22m44s and 4.45 g PETG
• Gear attachment = 0.28 mm / 25% gyroid infill with support = 43m31s and 12.82 g PETG

• 3 nut holders + 2 M4 screw holders = 0.28 mm / 25% gyroid infill = 26m53s and 5.6 g PETG
