BioFloat 18 – 3D Printed Floating Biological Media
BioFloat 18 is a floating biological media developed to maximize the colonization of beneficial bacteria in biological filtration systems. Manufactured from PETG using 3D printing, it combines high durability, excellent water circulation, and controlled buoyancy to increase the efficiency of biological treatment.
Its hollow cylindrical structure allows for 360° water flow, providing constant contact between water, oxygen, and bacterial biofilm. The sealed internal chamber ensures stable buoyancy and proper positioning in the water column.
Two versions available.
B- (Mid-Water)
Intermediate buoyancy.
Remains between the surface and the water column.
Greater simultaneous contact with water and oxygen.
Ideal for aerobic biological filters.
B+ (High Buoyancy)
Greater thrust
Stays closer to the surface.
Excellent for systems with low circulation.
Favors areas of high oxygenation.
