Third Hand Hinge Guide

If you've installed enough doors and windows, you probably know that getting them onto the hinges isn't difficult.

The challenge is doing it alone while holding a heavy door or window and trying to line up multiple hinges at the same time. Even experienced installers end up with tired arms after a few attempts.

These guides slide onto the hinges in the frame and help guide the mating hinges into position, giving you a much larger target to work with. Instead of fighting to hit every hinge perfectly at once, you can focus on lifting and positioning the unit.

Once the hinges are engaged, simply remove the guides and you're done.
