Door Catch

Toddlers in my house have broken every door stop. On top of that with the old house, doors did not stay open. So far, I kept using simple door stops or any random items to stop the door from closing.
But then I came across Spring Latch mechanism by 3D Printy and decided to design simple Door Catch with similar mechanism.

Printing

• Both parts print without any supports.
• Print the spring with enough perimeter lines that the flexible arms are solid.
• Pictured parts are printed with below settings and material.
  • eSUN PLA+ Fire Engine Red
  • 0.2mm Layer Height
  • 3 Perimeters
  • 5 Top and Bottom Layers

Assembly

• Both the spring and catch can be attached with two #6 or #8 wood screws to door and base board.
