Description

18650 Structured Grid for 200x200x70 Fefco 427 boxes.

A structured grid allows to store 100x18650 batteries in standard 200x200x70mm Fefco 427 boxes or slightly larger at 202x200x70mm. can theoretically store a significant number of 18650 cells using a structured grid.

  • Capacity Estimate: A grid designed for a 200x200mm footprint can accommodate approximately 10x10 cells (100 cells). With a height of 70mm, this allows for a single layer of 18650 batteries (which are 65mm in length) with a small amount of extra clearance for foam padding or wiring.
  • Grid Design: A commonly used 3D-printed parametric grid holds 18650 cells securely to prevent movement.
  • One box requires 18 grids
