Cup Turner
Print Profile(2)

Description
This is a modular Cup Turner for resin tumblers or other suitable cups designed for my wife's crafting projects. The machine is snap fit together with minimal hardware. The Rod the Tumblers rotate on is ½" PVC pipe commonly available at any hardware store like Home Depot. Cut this pipe to your chosen length. The motor is a simple synchronous low rpm motor kit available on amazon as well as the brass coupling. see pictures for items needed.
The machine consists of 6 printed parts that all slide lock together with the exception of the PVC support pillar top which can either be screwed in place or secured with a zip tie through the provided channel and groove.
If you purchase a motor kit similar to the one in the pictures, you'll have everything you need. Wiring is simple being only 2 wires that can be connected without polarity. Run the power cable through the provided hole in the end, make the connections to the motor and dress the wires in the lower cavity with a couple zip ties.
The printed coupling needs to be secured to the brass coupling through the center whole, mine had an m4 thread and required an m4 bolt, you could also just glue the two parts together.
Assembly is simple and designed to be modular. The motor mount plate can only mount to one side of the mid plate, the right-side plate can attach to the mid plate in either orientation. If you need to catch more drips, simply print another mid plate and slide it into the end plate.
Hardware needed
synchronous motor kit, motor, power cord with switch, brass coupling, wire connector
1 x m4 x 10mm screw (optional for brass / pvc coupling)
