Design Concept

The CF Ostrich is depicted in a tall, upright stance, its long neck rising above a sturdy faceted body. The polygonal wings and tail create layered crystalline textures, while the sharp lines of its legs emphasize strength and speed. Its angled head and beak highlight the bird’s alert and curious nature.

Purpose

Adds a flightless bird to the avian series, representing speed, endurance, and adaptability. The ostrich complements savanna figures like the CF Gazelle and CF Giraffe while contrasting with aerial birds such as the CF Eagle and CF Hummingbird.

Printing Recommendations

Sandy beige, tan, or gray filaments reflect its natural tones, while a dual-color scheme with darker legs and neck provides striking contrast. Supports may be required under the beak, wings, and tail. A matte finish works best to emphasize the crystalline feather textures.

Assembly Instructions

The CF Ostrich is designed as a single-piece print. After printing, carefully remove supports from the beak, wings, and tail to preserve detail. No further assembly is required.
