Description
Four distinct lightweight boxes designed for a drawer in my home, measuring 250*211*135mm. Weights approximate 150/200/200/240g depending on the design.
They are quite lightweight, so it's advisable to use industrial filaments with superior layer adhesion, such as ABS or PETG, to ensure usability.
Stringing might occur with Bambu Lab's proprietary ABS filament using the lattice structure. Reducing the extrusion temperature to 240-250℃ (from the default 260-270℃) after the second layer is recommended.
Warping is inevitable when printing large solid bases with ABS. Applying adhesive is essential; lowering the initial bed temperature to 0-30℃ is advised.
While I don't understand why freshly opened ABS filament exhibits progressively worse quality during short bridging, reducing the extrusion temperature to 240℃ improved things.
The central top section shows initial bridging, which looks perfect, but distortions appeared as printing progressed. The far-left section shows bridging after reducing the extrusion temperature:
