Making a Mini Finger Chopper for the Magic Trick Contest
I was trying to come up with a model idea for the Magic Trick Contest, but I was having a hard time. After doing some research, I found a classic arm chopper trick online. I thought about making it, but it would’ve taken way too much filament and time to print.
That’s when I got the idea to make a smaller version just for fingers.
Designing the Model
I started by sketching out the full-size arm chopper and then scaled it down to finger size. Once I had the proportions right, I worked on the blade and sliding mechanism, making sure everything would move smoothly.
To hold the pieces together, I also designed some simple bolts that could be printed quickly.
Testing and Final Touches
After a few test prints and small changes, everything finally fit and worked the way I wanted.
And that’s how I made the Mini Finger Chopper—a fun little model for the contest that’s simple, clean, and easy to print.
