Such an excellent design. I haven't come across my filaments needing it to be cut yet but I did install these. The most difficult part is the PTFE tubes getting in even with the tool he has on another page. But that speaks volumes because the rest of the process of putting it together is incredibly simple actually. Excellent work on this!

Nice design, just doesn't print well for me (unlike most everything else I do print). I saw the designer posted it's just out of date. Would love to see an updated version. Maybe it will work out better for me. Really really like the concept and wanted it to work out.

At first I couldn't get the magnets to fit in. Then I realized I just use some pliers and they sank right in. Didn't even need glue! Nice design. Thank you for sharing!

I like this. One hitch that happened though was it seems my filament started catching on the side of the spool and this led to it being pulled off during a print and then got all crazy tangled with the holder getting stuck onto the ptfe tube. I had to pause the print to free it. Only happened the one time though. Outside of that this is a nice simple print that works 99.9% of the time for me.
