Printed 6 Twisters at the same time* in 7 colors on an H2C, 7 nozzles, NO poop. Printing ONE takes 19 hours Printing 6 took 44. The color combos differ across all 6. They all spun great as printed, but I went a bridge further and put a tiny dad of WD40 as well. They spin 'til the cows come home! I think I will do 6 again, 'cause I have too many peeps I want to give one too. Oh the 6 bases and 12 needle valves I printed on my X1C. * Shared overhead,

I printed them with TWISTED co-extruded PLA Silk, and they can out fantastic. I had imagined a motorized filament dispenser to twist the filament very closely, but these guys twisted it at the factory, but 360 degrees every 9" or a perhaps a foot. It worked out Fantastic for the propellers, but probably twisted too quickly for other stuff. I still have a open mind about it, and will try it elsewhere over time.

Sorry, no pic. My 30 YO grandson has it in San Jose. He came down to get the NEW A1 I bought him. (And show him the ropes. He's a newbie) I printed the chain knowing already the ends wouldn't fit due to the new versus old. I gave him 2 tiny cable ties to stabilize it against the new A1 kickstand. That should work fine 'til an updated one is available.

Works pretty well, in 10-minute increments. Neither of the brackets seems to be for 32N, and I want to add a white plate below to shine on, Wide enough for a whole day. I think this will work fine in winter, but in the summer it will quit working about 1700 or before, when the Sun gets north of due west. Printing a new bracket should be a piece of cake. The rest of it appears to be of high quality and well-designed. If I had three hands, I might have even set the correct time! LoL As it is, that was pretty close to correct. The north side of my house gets full Sun in the morning and evenings. (Less in the morning as I live on the west side of a hill.

Printed one in PLA and one in TPU. I expect to play the TPU (real, soft TPU, not the AMS stuff). I intend to play with my 5 YO 5-year-old great-granddaughter with the soft one! Bonks on the head or face will be forgotten sooner. It flies pretty well, too! The yellow one is the TPU. I don't have many reels of TPU. Mine is in a VERY well-sealed and dessicant-protected dispenser, feeding into a 2:1 adapter in the back.

McMaven's original design! I reduced the Z of this one to 50mm to fit between the rims of narrower reels. (And the lit hopefully to match. I will redo the lid if I missied by too much. I am also doing these in clear pCtg. Prevously II had been printing them in pEtg rather than PLA due to PETGs higher softening point if I get carried away and put the dried desiccant back in before it is full cooled. Clear, the better to see the color of the desiccant. pCtg because I wanted to try it out. The 6.5" desiccant canister seems very srrong. I am going to ask my 50 YO very stroong son (I _used to_ be) to don work glove and try to breaki with his hands.
