Hey everyone! As a personal project and purely as a hobby, I've created a small web tool and I'd really like to know what you all think. What does it do? It's very simple: Paste the URL of any song, album, or artist from Spotify. Choose the shape (rounded/square), the size, and where you want the hole. It generates an STL file ready to be sliced and printed. I've always thought it was a great gift idea to give a keychain with a special song, but the manual process of getting the code, converting it to SVG, extruding it in CAD, adding a base, etc., is a bit tedious. My tool does it all in 10 seconds. The discussion I want to open is this: My final intention is to release it for completely free and open access for everyone, since, as I said, it's a non-profit hobby project. Do you see value in something like this? Is this a tool you would use (for gifts, for yourselves, etc.)? Do you think it's worth releasing for the whole community to use? Any feedback is welcome to help me decide! Thanks for your time! edit 24/10 A makerworld publication has been created where access to the page is! I hope it is useful to you https://makerworld.com/en/models/1919931-custom-spotify-code-keychain-generator-free-web#profileId-2060059(Edited)
