I designed this as a gift to a machinist friend to hold his soft drinks around his shop. I embedded three magnets in the base to help it stick to a toolbox and prevent spills.

I have often been frustrated with the need to pour hot water in the base of my moka pot before putting ground coffee in the filter basket. To solve this issue, I designed this dosing stand to hold the unwieldy filter basket while I put ground coffee in before pouring hot water into the moka pot base!
