This is a highly engineered parametric model for a hinge. Customize this design for your needs, by adjusting dimensions.

This is published after at least 5 revisions of related designs, for hinges or joints between parts. If used properly it can bear loads just like a door hinge from the hardware store.

Key features: print-in-place with two pieces in one model, fine clearances between hinge bodies, no supports required, choose-your-own hinge pin (PE tubing recommended), enlarge thicknesses & adjust countersinks for any hardware, and designed to be paired (install two copies) to keep alignment of your hinged item.
