Description

This component was reverse-engineered and modeled to replace a fractured internal part of a bicycle bell mechanism. The design was developed based on the original geometry, ensuring full compatibility with the existing assembly and preserving the functional kinematics of the system.

The part integrates the actuation interface and striker positioning features required for proper bell operation. Particular attention was given to dimensional accuracy, tolerance control, and structural integrity to ensure reliable performance under repeated cyclic loading.

The geometry was optimized for additive manufacturing, allowing efficient fabrication while maintaining sufficient strength and durability for everyday use. The final result restores the original functionality of the bell without requiring full component replacement.

This project highlights the application of 3D modeling and rapid prototyping techniques for repair, maintenance, and lifecycle extension of mechanical products.
