I designed this tool carousel to finally bring order to my workbench. Tools I constantly needed were always lying in a row on the workbench, which was sometimes annoying and took up space. The pliers, in particular, bothered me. The second problem was small cups in which I stored screws and small parts from current repairs or projects. Not infrequently, I swept them off the table in the heat of the moment

This is how the tool carousel came about, and it serves to store screwdrivers, drills, 6 pairs of pliers, small parts (8 small dishes), etc. The carousel is intended for electronics tools – meaning for more delicate tools. The plate can hold 72 tools – following the motto: better too much than too little ;-) The small dishes, the tool plate, and the pliers tower can be easily rotated

I printed the grey parts with PETG to achieve sufficient stability. The black parts are printed with PLA. The assembly is documented step-by-step in the photos

The tool carousel consists of four individual print profiles, which can be found under “STL/CAD Download”

  1. Stand (PETG)
  2. Plate (PETG)
  3. Pliers Holder Sleeves (PLA)
  4. Dishes (PLA)

I would be very happy about any feedback
