Description

OVERVIEW

When the new Minecraft drop was announced at Minecraft Live on September 27th (and even before that from the dev leaks), I rushed to create the new weapon, the spear. Inspired by Minecraft, the spear has two versions: the classic pixelated version and a smoothened version with straight lines I invented.

Depending on what printer (heatbed size) you have, you can print out longer or shorter spears. for the A1 mini, you will have to size the model down to fit. If you have an H2S/D, you can size it up and take it to the next level! (You may have to adjust some tolerances or use glue if you do so.)

MATERIALS (that i used)

3DHOJOR Fire Engine Red PLA - 68.68 g

ELEGOO Brown PLA - 137.27 g

ELEGOO Light Blue PLA - 389.36 g

PRINTING

You will want to print out the three segments of the shaft (2 brown, 1 red.) there are two variants of the head: a pixelated version, and a smooth version. You can choose the one you like because I'm can't decide between the two, so I included both. It is recommended to print with the shafts lying down, as 3D printed rods tend to break along layer lines.

ASSEMBLY

Assemble the shafts brown - red - brown. Attach the small blue tip on one end and the head on the other. Your spear is ready!
