Deep Regrets Custom Insert

A custom insert designed to neatly store all components of Deep Regrets — including the mini-expansion and a few extra goodies — while keeping the box perfectly closed with no lid-lift. Every item has its place, nothing rattles around, and setup becomes faster and smoother.

📦 What’s Inside

The insert includes 4 main card trays: three for the fish cards (depth I, II, and III) and one for the rod, reel, and supply cards, all designed to be easily pulled out and placed directly on the table.

You’ll also find 5 small trays for player components, plus 2 shaped trays: one for the fishcoin and the omen die, and a larger one for first player marker, day tracker, and life preserver.

A generic tray (used to help fill the remaining internal space) is included for extra goodies like pins, stickers, or even additional sleeved cards if you have some (up to 63 × 88 mm size).

For card management, there are 3 dedicated trays: one for player starting/reference cards, one for the Lamentable Tentacles mini-expansion, and a vertical tray for dink and regret cards.

There’s also a tray for the dice bag and 5 card holders that help fill the remaining space — and come in handy during play.

Bonus: Includes 5 fishbucket token holders (optional, but handy).

🧩 Recommended Organization

The player boards are the same size as the card trays. For optimal stacking, alternate them between trays: one board at the bottom, then one between each tray, and the last one on top. This creates a stable and compact stack.

Once everything is in place, there’s just enough space left to store the sea board, port board, ocean survey pad, madness tracker/ocean survey board, and the rulebook.

If you choose to print the filler to help secure the sea board, port board, and ocean survey pad, insert it before placing them. To remove it, first take out the boards and the survey pad, then lift out the filler. Note: You can use the filler to store a couple of pencils, but please keep in mind that they won’t be held firmly in place and may shift, potentially leaving unwanted marks on the box or some components.

📌 Important Notes

• The trays for fish, rod, reel, and supply cards (63 × 88 mm) have a usable slot size of 67 × 92 mm and support sleeves up to 60 microns (tested with PYN sleeves). The vertical clearance is tight but fits the necessary cards precisely.
• The tray for the dink and regret cards is available in two versions: one designed for cards sleeved with 45 × 68 mm sleeves, with a usable slot size of 50 × 72 mm (Plate 5), and one designed for cards sleeved with 45 × 63 mm sleeves, with a usable slot size of 50 × 67 mm (Plate 6). Choose and print the correct plate based on the sleeves you use. Note that the dice bag tray is also included.
• This project assumes that the ocean survey pad is included in the box. If you do not wish to include the ocean survey pad, select the appropriate print profile (coming soon).

📦 Contenuto

L’inserto comprende 4 vassoi principali per le carte: tre per le carte fish (depth I, II e III) e uno per le carte rod, reel e supply, tutti progettati per essere facilmente estratti e posizionati direttamente sul tavolo.

Ci sono inoltre 5 vassoi piccoli per i componenti dei giocatori, più 2 vassoi sagomati: uno per il fishcoin e l’omen die, e uno più grande per il first player marker, il day tracker e il life preserver.

Un vassoio generico (usato per riempire lo spazio interno rimanente) è incluso per extra come spille, adesivi o anche carte imbustate aggiuntive se ne possiedi (fino a 63 × 88 mm).

Per la gestione delle carte, ci sono 3 vassoi dedicati: uno per le carte iniziali e di riferimento dei giocatori, uno per la mini-espansione Lamentable Tentacles, e un vassoio verticale per le carte dink e regret.

C’è anche un vassoio per il sacchetto dei dadi e 5 porta carte che aiutano a riempire lo spazio rimanente — e risultano utili durante la partita.

🧩 Organizzazione Consigliata

Le player board hanno la stessa dimensione dei vassoi per le carte. Per un organizzazione ottimale, alternale tra i vassoi: una player board in fondo, poi una tra ogni vassoio, e l’ultima sopra. Questo crea una pila stabile e compatta.

Una volta che tutto è posizionato, resta giusto lo spazio necessario per posizionare la sea board, la port board, l’ocean survey pad, la madness tracker/ocean survey board, e il regolamento.

Se decidi di stampare il riempitivo per bloccare la sea board, la port board, e l’ocean survey pad inseriscilo prima di posizionarle. Per rimuoverlo, togli prima le board e il survey pad, poi rimuovi il riempitivo. Nota: puoi usare il riempitivo per conservare un paio di matite, ma tieni presente che queste non saranno saldamente bloccate e potrebbero muoversi, lasciando segni indesiderati sulla scatola o su alcune componenti.

• I vassoi per le carte fish, rod, reel e supply (63 × 88 mm) hanno una dimensione interna utilizzabile di 67 × 92 mm e supportano le bustine fino a 60 micron (testate con bustine PYN). Lo spazio verticale è ridotto, ma permette di alloggiare con precisione le carte necessarie.
• Il vassoio per le carte dink e regret è disponibile in due versioni: una progettata per carte imbustate con bustine da 45 × 68 mm, con uno scomparto utilizzabile di 50 × 72 mm (piatto 5), e una progettata per carte imbustate con bustine da 45 × 63 mm, con uno scomparto utilizzabile di 50 × 67 mm (piatto 6). Scegli e stampa il piatto corretto in base alle bustine che utilizzi. Nota che su ogni piatto è incluso anche il vassoio per il sacchetto dei dadi.
