Description
Hello everyone! Today I'm offering you a homemade wheel alignment kit, for DIY enthusiasts.
For now, I have designed this kit for vehicles with a 4 x 108 wheel hub. In the future, I will create files for 4 x 100 or 4 x 98 hubs as well.
It's very easy to use; once you've printed the components, simply assemble them. To do so, you will need:
2 8 x 20 screws.
2 M8 nuts.
10 x 3 magnets.
A 100cm x 11.5mm x 2mm aluminum bar (to be divided into two 50cm bars).
String or fishing line with two weights at the ends.
Once assembled, it's very intuitive. Simply slightly loosen two wheel bolts and position the kit (as shown in the picture), resting the aluminum bars on the bar holders.
Once this is done, simply position the string from the rear to the front along the aluminum bars and raise the front of the car to comfortably work on the steering knuckles.
(Commercially available aluminum bars with a reference line will help you to be more precise with the alignment).
I hope this will be useful to you. All you have to do is try it!!
