Bio
Hi, I’m Liviu I enjoy designing mechanical things movement, gears, and functional parts. Sometimes it’s big projects, sometimes tiny mechanisms but I like pushing designs as far as I can. Not everything has a purpose. Some things are just fun to make. Others are practical things for friends, family, or everyday use. If it moves, clicks, or solves a small problem I’m probably interested. Let’s print something interesting.

Spirit Roulette now has a customizable text version!I added a new version where the text can be changed directly in Bambu Studio. That means you can customize not only the small text, but also the main title. You can turn it into your own joke, challenge, party game, office prank, classroom version, birthday surprise, language version, or something completely different. It also makes it much easier to create versions in other languages. German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Romanian, or any language you want, just edit the text and make it fit your own idea. The mechanism stays the same:Press the button and reveal whatever theme or result you decided to build around it. So now it is not limited to the original Spirit Roulette idea anymore. You can use the same mechanical toy as a base and make it personal. Have fun customizing it, and feel free to share your versions! https://makerworld.com/en/models/2529816-spirit-roulette-push-button-accept-fate#profileId-2783973(Edited)

Spirit Animal Roulette is now available in German 🇩🇪 That was the main update this time, plus a few small improvements along the way: • smoother movement and slightly improved tolerances • reduced chance of the button getting stuck • glue-free slider assembly • embossed text for clean single-color prints • small durability and assembly tweaks Nothing major changed mechanically, just a more refined version overall. https://makerworld.com/en/models/2529816-spirit-roulette-push-button-accept-fate#profileId-2783973(Edited)

Press the button. Ruin your self-image. You think you’re getting: Dragon. Wolf. Alpha energy. What you actually get: Paranoid Mole Rat. Fully mechanical. No electronics. Just pure, physical disappointment. I’ve never seen people go from confident to humbled this fast. Go ahead. Press it. #2026Aprilfoolsday #Contests https://makerworld.com/de/models/2529816-spirit-roulette-push-button-accept-fate#profileId-2783973

The Credit Card Drink Counter V1 got way more attention than I expected. Thanks for all the prints and feedback. Many of you asked for count down and a reset, so for the last two weeks after work I worked almost exclusively on this update. Keeping the credit card size while adding these functions was not easy, and it took a lot of prototypes. V2 is now ready: count up, count down, reset, plus 12 bar-themed icons for the contest.

I’ve spent pretty much every free minute over the past few weeks working on this little pen. Ten-minute break? Quick tweak. After work? Another test print. Weekend? You guessed it, printer’s running. I’ve lost count of how many times I redesigned, resized, reprinted… just to fix tolerances, smooth out the mechanism, and chase down every tiny flaw. But now, it works. It clicks. It counts. Up to 999.

Architects & Designers – Feedback Wanted on Imperial Arch Scale Tool Hey Makers, I’m working on a compact tool for architects: a 3D-printable caliper featuring 6 imperial architectural scales — ideal for portability and quick referencing. I’d love your input to make sure it’s actually useful for real-world workflows. Here’s where I could use your help: ⸻ 1. What are the 6 most-used imperial arch scales? Here’s my current list: • 1/16″ = 1′-0″ • 1/8″ = 1′-0″ • 1/4″ = 1′-0″ • 3/8″ = 1′-0″ • 1/2″ = 1′-0″ • 3″ = 1′-0″ (see example below) Would you replace any of these? Should 3/4″ or 1″ = 1′-0″ make the cut? ⸻ 2. Does this scale layout make sense? Here’s a photo of the 3″ = 1′-0″ template I’ve been testing. The physical length of this segment is 4 inches, but it’s marked from 0–16 inches, to represent real-world inch values at this scale (each unit = 1 inch real-world). Does it feel clear and readable? Are the ticks and number spacing okay? Thanks so much for your insight — I want this tool to feel made for makers, and I appreciate every bit of feedback! Cheers, Liviu

Engineer’s Pen – Now available in mm or inches Need to jot down a quick idea and check if that thingy is 3 cm or 1-1/4 inches wide? Now you can do that with style. This sleek everyday carry combines a retractable ballpoint pen with an integrated 0–100 mm or 0–4 inch caliper scale. It’s the ultimate tool for engineers, tinkerers, and spontaneous inventors. Inspired by a classic promo pen I once had, redesigned for the modern maker. I always keep one on me because when someone says "Can you 3D print this?"... I’m already measuring. 3D printable, spring-compatible, and just the right level of geeky. https://makerworld.com/de/models/1436755
