The manufacture told me that this solution would not work. After 2 mockups I ended up with a perfect solution to use a 2" autopilot head in a 3 1/8" hole.

I am upgrading my autopilot and the typical aviation grade momentary push autopilot level button runs well over $100. Simple fix. For use in experimental aircraft.
