I'm host of popular 3D printing YouTube channel 3D Revolution, up until a couple of years ago I was a wildlife documentary camera and drone operator filming for the likes of BBC, Netflix, Apple, Disney/NatGeo, PBS Nova, etc (but then had a serious accident and as a result am no longer able to do it anymore).

There's been a lot of interest recently with the Snapmaker OrcaSlicer fork, Full Spectrum, which allows you to mix colours whilst printing to produce a wider range of colours.
However, for the most part, that's mainly compatible with the Snapmaker U1.
I decided to put together a tool that lets you paint an STL in any colour, then process it into a full spectrum printing pattern that can be printed on any printer.
I walk through the tool, showing how it works and doing several demo prints to show it's strengths and weaknesses in a video on YouTube, and have linked to the freely available tool in the video description.

The EasySplit has a successor!
Two years ago I published the original Easy Split Y-Splitter.
Since then it has been downloaded over 16,000 times. with 13,000 confirmed prints, and thousands of positive ratings, with people running all of their prints through the design without issue!. With the growing need to feed more than just two filament sources into one input, I am proud to announce the release of the EasySplit AfterBurner. An EasySplit which smoothly feeds 4 filament sources into one input.
The internal structure is a modified and further optimised version of the original. To get to this design, it's taken countless digital variations, and 13 printed versions which have been tested for significant prints before tweaking, printing, and testing again, over the space of a few weeks. Whilst I was at it, I've also produced the EasySplit Lite. A more slimline version of the original 2-1 EasySplit which uses 30% less filament and features a more compact frame, whilst sporting the same tried and tested internal structure as the original:
