Spool Holder PVC Base
Print Profile(1)

Description
I wanted a convenient way to stack/store my spare spools until i need them. I had a piece of 1.25" Schedule 40 PVC that I wanted to use, so I created a base for it to stand on. The stand is slightly flared out and will get compressed to provide friction to keep it in place.
I've been able to shake it a bit without it falling off, even with a full load. Of course, your mileage may very (YMMV) based on filament type, PVC, air temperature, mass to weight ratio of an unladen swallow… those sorts of things. But at least I know I can pick it up and move it without everything falling off.
The profile has 3 versions:
- Solid - Strong and straight forward
- Swiss - I love swiss cheese and why not make it interesting
- Exposed - This one has 0 top and bottom layers and exposes the infill. Feel free to change and experiement and see how it works.
